E306: The Minimum Maximum Principle
E306: The Minimum Maximum Principle - Achieving maximum results with minimum wasted effort.
The Minimum Maximum Principle
Concept: Combine the Minimum Effective Dose with Pareto's Law. Goal: Achieve Maximum results (80%+) with Minimum effort (20%).
The "Good Enough" Rule
- Engineering: You don't use Gold for wiring; you use Copper. It's "Good Enough."
- Fitness: To be in the top 1% (Platinum), you need a smart routine. To be in the top 0.01% (Olympian), you need 5x the effort for a tiny marginal gain. Is it worth it?
Application
Conduct a Cost-Benefit Analysis on your habits.
- Are you over-training for diminishing returns?
- Find the "Sweet Spot": The minimum input that sustains the maximum sustainable output.
